Less than two years after its launch, it has been recognized as the most innovative university in Mexico and the third most innovative in Latin America by the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2025, the most influential international ranking in educational innovation and social impact.
International Recognition
In its most recent edition, the WURI ranking placed UL at 278 out of 1,500 universities worldwide, surpassing renowned institutions such as Cornell University, University of Melbourne, Imperial College London, or UNAM.
Additionally, UL received special recognition in three key categories:
12th place in Ethics and Integrity, thanks to an educational model centered on values and responsible leadership.
17th place in Crisis Management, for its ability to adapt and respond effectively in uncertain contexts.
25th place in Empowerment-Based Management, recognizing its institutional design that places students at the center of their own learning process.

UL’s academic programs include the Bachelor’s Degree in Innovation and Business, a Specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science for Entrepreneurs, a Diploma in Lobbying, and multiple continuing education programs.
